Your 4WD vehicle collects you from your hotel at around 19:00 as the sun begins to set. Drive into the Eastern Desert, away from Hurghada's lights.

Arrive at the desert camp for a short camel ride as the last colours of sunset fade over the sand dunes — a perfect photo opportunity against the darkening desert sky.

Once darkness falls, your guide sets up a professional telescope and leads a comprehensive stargazing session. View planets (Saturn's rings and Jupiter's moons are visible on clear nights), navigate by the stars, and hear ancient Egyptian myths about the night sky.

Sit around the fire in a traditional Bedouin tent for a delicious dinner of grilled chicken, kofta, Egyptian rice, salads, and freshly baked bread, followed by mint tea, coffee, and sweets.

Enjoy traditional Bedouin music and dancing around the fire before your night-time desert drive back to Hurghada and hotel drop-off.
